Sussex Local Nature Recovery Strategies on TV!
Dr Kate Cole, County Ecologist and the LNRS lead for East Sussex and Brighton & Hove, was invited on Latest TV this week to talk about the public consultation on the two Sussex strategies and how the LNRS gives us a framework for action.
The interview was conducted by Steve Geliot, Brighton-based artist, nature lover and citizen scientist who has been monitoring starling murmuration for over a decade.
As well as talking about how the LNRS marks a step change from previous environmental policy, the conversation covers how Kate became an ecologist, why nature in Sussex is so special, and her favourite species - a rare plant only found in East Sussex. The interview ends with a discussion on what we can all do individually to help nature thrive.
