Map your actions for nature

Across Sussex and Brighton & Hove, endeavours that aim to recover nature are already underway, from landscape-scale or farmer cluster initiatives, to community and individual landowner projects. No matter the size, every action is important, and we'd love to hear about what you're doing or planning.

This voluntary Actions for Nature mapping tool has been designed to help you tell us about your projects for nature whether completed, in progress or planned.

Examples of the types of projects you can add to the map:

  • Local community initiatives
  • Landscape-scale projects
  • Land and farms under stewardship schemes
  • Nature-friendly land management and farming practices
  • Land set aside to rewild or regenerate
  • Woodland extension or establishment
  • Tree planting in urban areas
  • Wildlife areas in municipal parks
  • Species reintroductions or recovery
  • Habitat restoration.

Register to add your project to our map or to view the other initiatives happening across Sussex.
