Watch the Parish and Town Councils webinar 

On Monday 26th February 2024 around 60 Parish and Town Council members attended an hour long webinar hosted by the Sussex Nature Recovery team. 

The first half of the session was an overview of: 

• What Local Nature Recovery Strategies are and how they'll work
• Why they're needed
• What's in and out of their scope
• The vital role that Parish and Town Councils can play, including the importance of Neighbourhood plans
• How to get involved

The second half of the session saw the panel (which included representatives from West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council and the Sussex Nature Partnership) taking questions from attendees.
