Watch the webinar for environmental community groups and organisations
On Monday 25th March 2024 over 125 representatives from community groups, organisations and partnerships in Sussex that are already involved in nature's recovery attended an hour long webinar hosted by the Sussex Nature Recovery team.
The first half of the session was an overview of:
- What Local Nature Recovery Strategies are and how they'll work
- Why they're needed
- What's in and out of their scope
- The vital role that Parish and Town Councils can play, including the importance of Neighbourhood plans
- How to get involved
The second half of the session saw the panel (which included representatives from West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Counci, the Sussex Nature Partnership and Natural England) taking questions from the floor.
